Terms & Conditions
In addition to our house rules, please note the following terms and conditions. By making a booking, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions on the website at the time of booking.
- No responsibility will be taken by the owners for damage or injury sustained to property, individuals or animals whilst using The Dug and Bone.
- Parking must be in the advised parking areas. All vehicles are left entirely at their owners’ risk and the owners accept no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred, accident or otherwise, whilst they are on the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park premises. External CCTV is in operation for safety.
- Any breakages or damage caused must be reported and paid for by the customer.
- If any dogs that you are responsible for are not insured for 3rd party liability, please be aware that you will be personally liable for any accidents or injuries that the dog may cause, just as you would be if it occurred in a public place.
- Smoking is not permitted.
- No food or drink bought from outside the premises is permitted without prior consent. Hot beverages and treats can be purchased at reception. All hot beverages must be covered by a lid to avoid any spillages.
- A first aid kit is located at reception.
- Dogs must be always kept on leads when transferring from the car to The Dug and Bone.
- Customers must vacate the park once their time slot has finished.
- Dog trainers or behaviourists or working with their clients will only be allowed by prior arrangement and must provide evidence of their insurance prior to booking or on arrival.
- Professional dog walkers are welcomed by prior arrangement.
- Anyone hiring the premises for commercial purposes or on a professional basis can do so only with the owner’s permission.
- No litter is to be left as this presents a risk to users and their dogs. Please use the bin provided.
- Any chewed or damaged dog toys must be removed and put in the bin.
- The ‘fun’ areas – obstacles, jumps, tyres, ramps etc., are designed and built to be used by dogs only. Adults or children must not use them. If caught using them, we reserve the right to end the booking.
- The owners will not take any responsibility for any injury to humans or animals caused by using said equipment.
- If you hire the venue for exclusive use, you are responsible for the health and safety of yourself, your dog and any attendees that you have invited. In this case, we can allow un-neutered male adult dogs or dogs who are not up to date with their vaccinations however it is your responsibility to inform your attendees that these conditions may pose additional risks.
- Children are allowed to attend exclusive use hire sessions but you are responsible for the behaviour and safety of them – please ensure that they are supervised at all times.
- Dangerous dog breeds, or crosses of those breeds, as outlined in the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted.
- Refunds cannot be given for bookings which have been made for dogs who do not comply with our house rules – it is the responsibility of the customer to check the suitability of their dog against the house rules before booking. If a dog cannot attend due to illness, store credit will be provided so that the booking can be rescheduled.
