Happy customers
Took our border terrier here today, she had a great time, If your dog is missing out on Dog on Dog socialisation / play in the winter then this is the place. DAISY had a fantastic time, and we ( her humans) stayed warm, dry, and had coffee. So highly recommended.

We've been here a good few times for the mixed plays. They are always really enjoyable for both dog and owner. The dogs are knackered by the end and there's lovely coffees you can get whilst the dogs mess around. Always a good day going to Dug and Bone :)

What we provide
The Dug and Bone is designed around the four “E”s: exercise, exploration, enrichment and entertainment, and our fully enclosed and secure 2600 sq ft space will ensure that even the most talented Hound-inis (sorry) stay safely inside.
Exercise
Say goodbye to boring pavement walks or trying to navigate muddy puddles and slippy leaves, your dog can play fetch, run around off lead and try out our agility equipment for all of their exercise needs.
Exploration
Did you know that sniffing and exploring new smells can tire dogs out as much as a long walk? Sniffing is vital for a happy and contented dog and a visit to our Exploration Zone, where we’ve brought the outdoors in, will provide them with more scents and smells than they can shake a stick at.
Enrichment
Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise for dogs - when dogs are bored they tend to create their own entertainment, which is usually code for destroying most of your prized possessions. Our Paws for Thought corner (I know) has a range of puzzle games and toys which will leave them scratching their heads for hours.
Entertainment
Give your dogs a chance to play and socialise with other dogs! This is an opportunity to let them off their leads and play with each other in a fully secure environment whilst you can enjoy a coffee and a chat with other owners. If your dog prefers to play with dogs their own size, we run specific sessions for small, medium and large breeds - just check out our timetable.
How it works
Play sessions
Play sessions are mixed sessions, so when you book, there will be other dogs and their owners there. To book a play session for your pooch, simply book a time slot on our website, read our House Rules, turn up and have fun!
Please see below for the types of play sessions that you can book:
Standard 1 hour play session £9.00
this is the standard play session where a variety of dogs will be attending.
Specific size play sessions £9.00
these are sessions where only small or large dogs will attend.
Puppy play sessions £9.00
these are sessions specifically for puppies who are between 13 and 24 weeks
Adolescent hour £9.00
these are sessions for puppies who are 24 weeks and under 1 year
You can find our specific size and puppy session timetable here.
If you have a second dog in your household, you can bring them along for an additional £5
All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations and on your first visit, you must upload or bring along a copy of their vaccination certificate or titre test results.
Book nowExclusive hire
Exclusive hire is great for:
- Dogs who are anxious or reactive around dogs/people they don’t know
- If your adult male dog is unneutered
- If you would like to bring your children along
- Birthday parties
- Breed Meet-ups
Exclusive hire for 1 hour costs £40 which gives entry for up to 4 dogs. If you would like to bring any additional dogs, it costs an additional £5 per dog. For example, if you wanted to have a meet-up with 8 dogs, it would cost £40 for the hire and the first 4 dogs, and then an additional £20 for the extra 4 dogs = £60, which works out at £7.50 per dog!
You can book an exclusive hire for up to 8 dogs on our website - if you would like to book more than 8 dogs, please email us at info@thedugandbone.co.uk with your requirements as our capacity depends on the size and breed of dogs you’re looking to bring.
Please note that you are responsible for the safety of your children and any dogs that attend.
Where are we located?
We are based in the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park, which is off the Birniehill roundabout, just past the East Kilbride Shopping Centre.
If you are following car sat nav directions instead of Google Maps, please check first that the destination corresponds to the Technology Park, if it doesn't, try the postcode G75 0QR instead. Once you are in the Technology Park, follow signs for the Maxwell Building.
If you are walking, some map apps may try to take you through to the side gates on Kelvin Road - these gates are often locked so please just follow the driving directions to get here.
