FAQs
What is a vaccination certificate?
You will usually have been given a card by your vet or breeder when your puppy was vaccinated initially. Your dog should have annual boosters and this card should be updated when that happens. If you don't have this card, your vet can usually email your records through to you and you can show this as evidence instead.

We are located at The Maxwell Building, 55 Nasmyth Avenue, East Kilbride, G75 0BE - it is in the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park, just a couple of minutes from East Kilbride shopping centre.
Do you have parking?
Yes we do have parking - please ensure that whilst in the carpark, your dog is on their lead until you get into the dog park and through our entry gates.
Do you have disabled access?
Yes, we are situated on ground level and have access to disabled toilet facilities in the main building. If you have any specific needs that you would like to discuss, drop us an email at info@thedugandbone.co.uk and we’ll do our best to help.
How do you make the dog park secure?
We have a fully enclosed premises with double gates at the entrance. Our entry system ensures that there will never be any open gates or escape routes so you can relax knowing that your pooch isn’t going anywhere.
How do I book?
You can book a one hour slot via our website - it’s important to book so that we can manage the number of visitors. This gets you access to the dog park and all the activities for that hour.
What activities do you have?
We have a custom-built fort with ramps and a tunnel, a range of dog agility equipment, including hurdles, a 4m dog beam, and slalom poles. We also have a sand pit, tugging hangmen, a variety of toys, balls, tug ropes, and our scent-sory corner has lots of dog puzzles and games for the dogs to explore.
Can I bring my own treats or toys in?
There will be treats for sale and plenty of toys for your dog to play with, however if you would prefer to bring your own toys or training treats, you are welcome to. If your dog is a resource guarder, it’s best not to bring any favourite toys. Please do not bring in dog food other than training treats otherwise you might find yourself surrounded! You should also ensure that it’s been at least an hour since your dog has eaten so that they’re not running around on a full stomach. There will always be clean drinking water available in the park.
What is your cleaning schedule?
Our water bowls, toys and floors are deep cleaned daily with pet friendly disinfectant. If your dog has an accident, we have sprays and cleaning materials for you to clean up after them and to discourage any marking behaviour. We ask that you encourage your dog to go to the toilet outside before coming into the dog park and of course, please always clean up after them outside.
Do you do puppy training classes?
We don't run our own training classes; however, we have wonderful trainers who use our venue for their training classes. They use non-aversive, positive reinforcement training methods to teach your pup so you can be safe in the knowledge that your pup will always be treated with patience and compassion.
Do you allow dog walkers?
Yes we do! Yes we do! You can hire the hall the same as the dog trainers do; we will need proof of valid business insurance.
